Communities

Redeemer is organized into loosely geographical units called Communities. Communities are the structural and relational heart of our church, and are the most central aspect of congregational life outside of gathered worship.

We seek to ensure that every person who calls Redeemer home is aligned with and invited into a Community.

Communities provide relational contexts where people know and care for one another as they practice faith together

They are a not a small group that you can join; rather, they are the way our church body has been organized to ensure every person at Redeemer is connected. As soon as you walk through the doors of the church, you are in a Community.

Currently, we have five Communities spread throughout the South Charlotte area:

  • The Matthews Community gathers on Wednesday evenings.

  • The Stallings Community gathers on Wednesday evenings.

  • The Central Community gathers on Sunday afternoons, after service.

  • The Weddington Community gathers on Wednesday evenings.

  • The Waxhaw Community gathers on Tuesday nights.
